Valerie Blachly on Vocals and upright bass has been performing for years, most notably with the Swing trio Sweet Hot and Sassy. Frequently in the studio, she has five recordings to her credit, one of which is all original children’s songs.
She also performs with Swing A Cat a group of talented women playing and singing Jazz from the 30's and 40's.
Peter Leavenworth on Vocals, Banjo, Dobro, and Pedal Steel guitar has performed for the past 25 years with such bands as Lunch at the Dump, Second hand rose, the Electric caves, and the Spud Cannons. He is currently working on a book on popular music in early America.
Jim Barthelemy on Vocals and Mandolin also played with Lunch at the Dump. An accomplished and inventive instrumentalist he is remarkably also a nice guy. He is currently composing and recording music for the Mandolin and the group.
Ted Blachly on Vocal’s and guitar is known widely as the man who married his wife because she had a Martin guitar… (After 30 years the Martin still works and so does she)…He has been playing both professionally and for “pure fun” since the early 70”s
The group also includes from time to time, guest fiddlers Matt Leavenworth or Ellen Carlson
